Three sizzle reels for Filmtek Cloud.

Filmtek Cloud builds remote post-production tools for film and television. Their Our Work page needed to show what customers make with them. We cut three reels, one each for motion picture, scripted, and unscripted, from about four hours of their clients' trailers, and designed the title system that ties them together.

Every film is its own animal.

FrameStack Labs is run by Phil Stuben, an Emmy-winning television editor with 24 years in national broadcast post-production. Across 40+ network and streaming series — for Netflix, ABC, FOX, MTV, Bravo, and Discovery — the job was the same every day: turn hundreds of hours of raw footage into story, and catch every frame that wasn't right before air. That discipline is the whole of FrameStack: every project is cut, reviewed frame by frame, and finished by hand.

Spec work

Built in-house, start to finish.

Self-initiated pieces: a short brand film finished wide and vertical, and five cuts for a fictional coffee brand. Generative tools supplied some of the footage. The edit, grade and finish are all by hand.
